As we cross the threshold into the New Year, this is a time of reflection, recognition, anticipation, and celebration. From all of us at the New Canaan Society for the Arts, a big thank you for your support and membership during 2011. We are able to continue our programs because of the generosity and commitment of our members and friends. Thank you so much! The combined creative energy of all who are committed to furthering our mission ensures that we will continue to serve as an important cultural and community resource into the future.
We hope that one of your New Year’s Resolutions includes taking time to nurture your creative side. What better way to do this then by visiting the Gallery and drinking in the creative talent of so many area artists? We invite you to relax in the peace and beauty of the 19th century Carriage Barn. Our gallery administrators, Diane and Annie, and our Caretakers, Frank and Ashley, are always happy to see new and regular visitors. Please take a moment to view our website which includes current postings under “Calendar” and visit the “Buzz” to find out what our Curator, artists and visitors are saying about the Carriage Barn. And don’t hesitate to join the conversation!
The Carriage Barn is a New Canaan treasure. Please join me in telling your personal Carriage Barn story. What is it that keeps you an engaged and active member or visitor to our gallery? Your stories will broaden our reach and help to expand our membership base. We want the Barn experience to be as optimal as possible and we genuinely seek your feedback on ways to infuse new life and offerings. To share a story, please send me an email, as I am happy to hear from you.
The New Year is about a new energy. We invite you to come see first-hand the exciting things that are happening inside our big green Carriage Barn doors. Wishing you a year filled with creativity and inspiration. We look forward to your continuing patronage in 2012.
