SUMMARY:Yoga & Sound Bath\, Fall Series
DESCRIPTION:Saturdays 9-10am\, September 19 – October 24\nJoin us Saturday mornings for a continuing wellness collaboration between the Carriage Barn and Diane Nickelberg Barnett and introducing yoga instructor Talita Moss. This Gentle Yoga and Sound Bath series will engage both body and mind to help melt away the stresses of the week and start your weekend right! \nAfter a brief opening meditation\, we’ll stretch and loosen up with a gentle yoga practice\, accompanied by the soft sounds of Crystal and Tibetan singing bowls\, chimes\, gongs\, drums and more. You’ll then sink into an extended Savasana like no other while you become immersed in the magical sounds of the healing instruments\, creating vibrational energy to lull you into a deeply relaxed\, meditative state.  \nOpen to all levels; no experience needed. Please bring a mat and any other props for comfort- blanket\, bolster\, pillow\, eye covering\, etc.   \n\n\n$40 per class / $210 series of 6 classes (register below) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDiane Nickelberg-Barnett is the founder of Grounded Meditation and a successful NYC Real Estate attorney who realized years ago that she needed something to help balance the stress and chaos of her busy and demanding career. Diane is a graduate of Cornell University and CUNY School of Law\, and holds multiple certifications in teaching meditation and yoga (including Yoga Nidra)\, sound healing\, tapping (EFT)\,  and has completed training as a Dancing Mindfulness Facilitator. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTalita Moss is a yoga teacher and ELDOA trainer in coastal CT. Practicing since 2004 and teaching since 2013\, Talita focuses on teaching sustainable movement practices with attention to joint health and strength. Her classes invite students to explore the potential in their bodies with curiosity and play\, approaching movement in a way that is nourishing for the body and soothing for the nervous system. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Yoga & Sound Bath\, Fall Series (September 19 - October 24)\n Sign up for a single class or the six-week series\nYoga & Sound Bath class Saturdays 9-10am \n "*" indicates required fields \n \n Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Email*\n \n Address* \n \n \n \n Street Address\n \n \n Address Line 2\n \n \n City\n \n AlabamaAlaskaAmerican SamoaArizonaArkansasCaliforniaColoradoConnecticutDelawareDistrict of ColumbiaFloridaGeorgiaGuamHawaiiIdahoIllinoisIndianaIowaKansasKentuckyLouisianaMaineMarylandMassachusettsMichiganMinnesotaMississippiMissouriMontanaNebraskaNevadaNew HampshireNew JerseyNew MexicoNew YorkNorth CarolinaNorth DakotaNorthern Mariana IslandsOhioOklahomaOregonPennsylvaniaPuerto RicoRhode IslandSouth CarolinaSouth DakotaTennesseeTexasUtahU.S. Virgin IslandsVermontVirginiaWashingtonWest VirginiaWisconsinWyomingArmed Forces AmericasArmed Forces EuropeArmed Forces Pacific\n State\n \n \n ZIP Code\n \n \n PhoneIndividual Drop-in Class$40 per class -- select one date per registration. \n \n \n September 19\n \n \n \n September 26\n \n \n \n October 3\n \n \n \n October 10\n \n \n \n October 17\n \n \n \n October 24\n Series of 6 classes\, please enter QTY not cost Quantity\n \n \n Price:\n $210.00\n \n \n Quantity \n Total\n \n Payment MethodCredit Card\n American ExpressMasterCardVisaSupported Credit Cards: American Express\, MasterCard\, Visa\n \n Card Number\n \n \n \n Expiration Date\n \n \n                                                 \n Security Code\n \n \n \n Cardholder Name\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Δ

SUMMARY:Bruce Museum Tour & Lunch: American Stories from Sargent to O’Keeffe
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, October 28\, 11am-1:30pm \nDon't miss this special opportunity to join an exclusive tour of this  highly anticipated new exhibition\, followed by a private lunch at the museum. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAmerican Stories from Sargent to O’Keeffe brings forty-five masterworks of American art to Greenwich and the region through an extraordinary partnership with The Newark Museum of Art. Newark’s American art collection ranks among the finest in the nation\, with exceptional holdings spanning from the colonial period and Hudson River School to the present day. Audiences will experience iconic paintings including Georgia O’Keeffe’s White Flower on Red Earth\, No. 1\, Edward Hopper’s The Sheridan Theatre\, portraits by John Singer Sargent and Mickalene Thomas\, luminous landscapes by Albert Bierstadt and Marsden Hartley\, and powerful sculptures by Alexander Calder\, Louise Nevelson\, and Martin Puryear. \nCoinciding with the nation’s 250th anniversary\, American Stories is organized into four sections—Identity\, Belonging\, Belief\, and Making—themes that reveal how artists shape our understanding of America\, past and present. A full year of dynamic programming will include in-gallery performances by dancers\, musicians\, and writers\, as well as panel discussions and lectures by thought leaders highlighting fresh perspectives on American art and culture. \nThis exhibition was organized collaboratively by the Bruce Museum and The Newark Museum of Art. \n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease meet at the Bruce Museum\, 1 Museum Drive\, Greenwich by 10:50am. \nCost: $65 for Carriage Barn members | $80 for non-membersIncludes lunch.  Register below. Space is limited.  \n \nPlease note registration and payment for this program is non-refundable. In the event you must cancel\, we will consider your purchase a donation and will happily issue you a donation receipt.
