Prepare for the Easter holiday at this special afternoon cooking class with Jane Mossa of The Pink Rhubarb!
Kids ages 7 & up will make hot cross buns from scratch to take home and bake for the Easter / Spring holiday!
Craft beautiful sweet bread for Easter with the pink rhubarb. We will learn how to use butter to enrich our bread dough and discover the foundations of brioche and make hot cross buns together for a take and bake workshop. We with discover sweet yeast breads, basics of kneading and shaping breads as well as add in’s and how we can make more than just hot-cross buns with this versatile dough.
Guided by Jane, this fun and educational experience goes beyond just following a recipe — kids will explore creativity and learn the balance of flavors and textures.
This fun hands-on session will help foster a love for cooking and creativity in the kitchen and develops children’s confidence, plus they will bring home delicious hot cross buns to bake and contribute to your Spring table!
