Opportunity for 1-2 responsible, take-charge individuals to serve as on-site manager during special gallery programs and rental events. Typically 3-6 hour shifts on weekends or evenings. Excellent problem-solving, people skills and positive attitude required. May include some administrative duties. Internship starting September 2022
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented intern who is eager to learn and gain experience working with a non-profit art center and in a gallery setting. Tasks include, but are not limited to: front desk maintenance, interacting with members and visitors, administrative tasks, research, special projects and general operations.
The right candidate will be a self-starter who is organized and able to multitask. Good phone etiquette and people skills are a must, as are computer skills. Approximately ten hours per week, some weekend or evening hours required.
