Young Entrepreneurs at Waveny Park Arts Fest

We’re excited to present a Young Entrepreneurs Marketplace at the 2024 Arts Festival to showcase the creative business ventures of school-aged kids.

 

Young Entrepreneurs joined us for two TRAINING SESSIONS to help prepare for the Arts Festival:
– Tuesday, 9/10: Design/Think Workshop with Laura Miller at the New Canaan Library
– Tuesday, 10/1 6-7pm: Business Savvy via zoom covering logistics and details for a successful launch including Pitch, P&L, Marketing, Booth set up, payment processing.

 

  • Table fee is $25.  Participants will have 4″ of space (half of an 8-foot table and 1-2 chairs will be provided)
  • Restrictions: consumable products (food & beverages) must be permitted by Town of New Canaan health department, no resale
  • Young entrepreneurs are responsible for set up/break down, signage/display, sales processing
  • Young entrepreneurs age 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult at all times

Application to participate on Sunday, October 6th, 2024 Inviting school-age kids to showcase their business and/or sell their product. Not open to food/consumable products, no resale items. Please upload up to 4 images with samples of your product/goods and/or logo. Young entrepreneurs will be notified on a rolling basis and acceptance is guaranteed after table fee payment has been received.
