Guided Tour of the Morgan Library & Museum

Join the Carriage Barn for an afternoon guided tour of the magnificent Morgan Library & Museum. The Morgan began as the personal library of financier, collector, and cultural benefactor Pierpont Morgan.who assemble a remarkable collection of illuminated, literary, and historical manuscripts, early printed books, and old master drawings and prints.
We will experience several exhibitions on view, including Caravaggio’s “Boy with a Basket of Fruit” in Focus, Come Together: 3,000 Years of Stories and Storytelling, Giovanni Bellini’s “Pietà” Restored and Pietro Perugino’s “Man of Sorrows”, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Treasures from the Mozarteum Foundation of Salzburg. We will also explore highlights from the Morgan’s renowned collection of Modern and Contemporary Drawings, spanning the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries and showcasing the vital contributions of artists working on paper.
