Introduction to Yoga Nidra – Deep Sleep Meditation

Join this introductory Yoga Nidra session with Joy Hoffman and treat yourself to some pre Valentine’s self care and compassion!

Participants who suffer from insomnia, stress, depression, inflammation will especially benefit from this ancient practice of Yoga Nidra from India.

Listen to the tranquil visual and guided imagery as you gently relax and restore. One hour equals 3-4 hours of deep sleep and you will feel genuinely refreshed and reinvigorated afterward the session. There will be no yoga poses.

Bring 2-3 blankets, a yoga mat, eye pillow and bolster for under the knees.

Introductory rate – Members $10 / Non members $25

Joy’s passion in life is to educate adults & children on how thoughts, emotions and physical well being are connected.  

Joy is certified as a Yoga Nidra and Yoga Therapist from The Amrit Institute and has taught in the U.S. and abroad.

She currently works in the Sandy Hook community for 12 years and uses YN as a technique for grief, tragedy, trauma and recovery.
