Paint & Pause: A Watercolor and Sound Bath Experience

Begin with a sound bath meditation, allowing calming tones and vibrations to gently quiet the mind and relax the body. This listening journey helps release tension, ease the nervous system, and create a sense of spaciousness—perfectly setting the tone for creative exploration.
Following the sound bath, Jen will guide participants through an expressive watercolor painting experience. Using simple techniques and intuitive prompts, you’ll be invited to explore color, movement, and self-expression without pressure or expectation. No art experience is needed—this is not about creating a “perfect” painting, but about enjoying the process and letting creativity flow.

Please bring a yoga mat and any other props you would like for comfort for the sound bath part of the session - i.e. blanket, eye covering, pillow, bolster etc.

Diane Nickelberg-Barnett is the founder of Grounded Meditation and a successful NYC Real Estate attorney who realized years ago that she needed something to help balance the stress and chaos of her busy and demanding career. Diane is a graduate of Cornell University and CUNY School of Law, and holds multiple certifications in teaching meditation and yoga (including Yoga Nidra), sound healing, tapping (EFT), and has completed training as a Dancing Mindfulness Facilitator.
