This Tour is FULL – please email elizabethb@carriageb arn.org for waitlist.

Join Dr. Page Knox for a special two-hour guided tour of the highly anticipated Divine Egypt exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

A sought-after lecturer and art historian, Dr. Knox will lead us through this extraordinary exhibition—the Met’s first major Egypt show in over a decade—bringing to life the ancient gods and goddesses that shaped one of the world’s greatest civilizations.

Featuring nearly 250 works of art and objects, Divine Egypt explores the imagery and symbolism surrounding the most important deities in ancient Egyptian culture. The exhibition includes over 140 masterpieces from the Met’s renowned Egyptian collection, along with rare loans from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Musée du Louvre, Paris; and the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Copenhagen.

This sweeping exhibition spans Egypt’s 3,000-year history—from monumental limestone statues to exquisite golden figurines—offering visitors a powerful encounter with the art, mythology, and enduring spirit of ancient Egypt.

Dr. Page Knox is an adjunct professor in the Art History Department of Columbia University. She works in a variety of capacities as a contractual lecturer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art where she gives public gallery talks and lectures in special exhibitions as well as the permanent collection, teaches classes at the museum, and leads groups for Indagare and Travel with the Met.
