Evening Adult Painting Class

Five Monday Evenings
Sept 25 – Oct 23, 7-9pm
Come learn and practice the foundations of painting with instructor and artist Evelyn Harvey. Over the five-week course, beginning and intermediate artists will go through all the steps of creating an image on canvas. Learn how to use various brushes and tools, manipulate the acrylic medium, set up a palette and create a work of art using your creativity and skills.
$135 members / $150 non-members (all materials included)
Evelyn Harvey is a local artist and native to New Canaan. She has worked for the Carriage Barn Arts Center as a Digital marketing coordinator and Gallery Assistant, and was a Professor of Visual Art, teaching Drawing I, Painting I, Designer Fundamentals, Color Theory, and Art Appreciation of Palm Beach State College. She received her BFA in painting from Pratt institute and MFA in painting from Savannah College of Art & Design.
