Experiment with strokes on canvas and
connect color to your emotions, memories, and positive manifestations. Create your own piece of art while Katie helps guide you through the art of painting as a medium for self-discovery.
Connect with yourself and others during this morning workshop while using the language of color to delve into expressions of emotions and symbolism.

Katie Southworth is an internationally collected, independent abstract artist currently based in Bridgeport, CT. Katie She received Bachelors degrees in Studio Art and Psychology from Colby College, as well as a Masters in Teaching Art from Tufts University. She began her fine art career in Boston, while she taught visual art for Boston Public Schools and began pursuing art full time in 2021. Over 250 of her original works are in private and public collections across 50+ cities around the nation and abroad. Katie’s work has been exhibited at international art fairs including Art Basel, and featured in publications including Vanity Fair London, and Colby Magazine, and Create! Magazine.
