Deep Sleep Meditation Session with Joy Hoffman
Sundays at 11am / March 10, 24, April 7, 14 & 28, May 5
$35 per class
Listen to the tranquil visual and guided imagery as you gently relax and restore. One hour equals 3-4 hours of deep sleep and you will feel genuinely refreshed and reinvigorated after the session. There will be no yoga poses.
Participants who suffer from insomnia, stress, depression, inflammation will especially benefit from this ancient practice of Yoga Nidra from India.
Designed for all ages, no experience necessary — stressed office workers, students or parents with whirring minds who are always ‘on the go’, or those practicing intense or competitive sports and need to calm both body and mind.
Bring 2-3 blankets, a yoga mat, eye pillow and bolster for under the knees.
Joy’s passion in life is to educate adults & children on how thoughts, emotions and physical well being are connected.
Joy is certified as a Yoga Nidra and Yoga Therapist from The Amrit Institute and has taught in the U.S. and abroad.
She has worked in the Sandy Hook community for 12 years and uses YN as a technique for grief, tragedy, trauma and recovery.
