June Invitational: New Canaan Sculpture Group – Works on View
Behind the back and downstairs in the Carriage Barn Arts Center in Waveny Park, there is a green wooden door with a sign that reads “New Canaan Sculpture Group” where, for over twenty years, up to 25 resident artists have been steadily creating works in a variety of media. Coming together most often on Fridays, guided individually by Master sculptor Sergey Eylanbekov, the group, who each come and go to work on their sculpture year-round, welcome visitors and conversations with anyone curious about becoming a member of their group at any time.
