Join the Carriage Barn Arts Center in New Haven for an exclusive group tour and lunch at the recently renovated Yale Center for British Art , followed by a visit to the Yale University Art Gallery across the street.
We’ll meet at the Center for British Art (1080 Chapel Street, New Haven) at 11am for a guided tour including Painters, Ports, and Profits: Artists and the East India Company, followed by a private group lunch on site.
After, we’ll cross the street and visit current exhibitions at the Yale University Art Gallery, the oldest college art museum in the United States. The encyclopedic collections comprise world-renowned American paintings and decorative arts; outstanding collections of Greek and Roman art; early Italian paintings; European, Asian, and African art from diverse cultures; and Impressionist, modern, and contemporary works. We’ll visit current exhibitions including Hans Hoffman and American Impressionism.

Visitors can park in metered spaces on nearby streets or in the Chapel-York Garage, conveniently located at 150 York Street.
