for children ages 4-13 / drop-off class
Embark on a delightful adventure to craft a personal Easter basket from start to finish, ready to take home & celebrate the Spring Holiday!
- We’ll start by crafting a handwoven basket from yarn and fill it with upcycled shredded paper “grass” and a colorful bow…
- We will learn to dye eggs in a range of natural and vibrant colors, using cabbage, turmeric, matcha, onions and avocados…
- Finally, we’ll make and decorate charming meringue mushrooms to nestle into our baskets as a finishing touch!

The Pink Rhubarb believes in cultivating, growing and maintaining skills in cooking, gardening and craft. This after school program teaches future generations how to enjoy using their hands in the kitchen, garden or at the table. We provide opportunities for independence and creative learning while teaching children essential life skills that are enjoyable to explore together. Jane started The Pink Rhubarb after many years cooking professionally for corporations, as an executive chef and owning her own catering company.
