Encaustic is an ancient method of painting with wax. Pure beeswax is blended with resin and pigment, then applied in layers. Each layer is melted and fused with heat to the surface, creating depth, texture, and a beautiful luminous finish. You will learn how to work confidently with hot wax to create expressive and beautiful works of art.
