Don’t miss this opportunity to see the first installation of the 2024 Whitney Biennial with a guided tour on Wednesday, April 3rd at 11:30am. 
The Whitney Biennial—a showcase of what’s new in American art—returns to the Whitney for its eighty-first installment which opens on March 20, 2024. Introduced in 1932 by the Museum’s founder, Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney, the Biennial charts developments in art of the United States and is the longest-running exhibition of its kind. Seventy-one visionary artists and collectives will participate in the eighty-first installment of the Whitney Biennial.
The artists and collectives in the latest chapter of the exhibition—Whitney Biennial 2024: Even Better Than the Real Thing—will follow in the footsteps of hundreds of Biennial artists before them to interpret our current landscape and tell stories, spark discussion, and comment on issues across a variety of media and disciplines.
The 2024 Whitney Biennial is organized by Chrissie Iles and Meg Onli, with Min Sun Jeon and Beatriz Cifuentes. The performance program is organized by Iles and Onli, with guest curator Taja Cheek. 
The film program is organized by Iles and Onli, with guest curators Korakrit Arunanondchai, asinnajaq, Greg de Cuir Jr, and Zackary Drucker.
Attendees should plan to meet in the lobby of the Whitney Museum in the Meat Packing district, 99 Gansevoort Street, New York, NY 10014, just before 11:30am allowing enough time to check coats or bags. We recommend taking the 8:51am (10:17am arrival) or 9:38am (10:58am arrival) Metro-North train from New Canaan or the 9:46am (10:42am arrival) or 10:02am (10:58am arrival) from Stamford or the 9:52am (10:58am arrival) from Darien. Please confirm train schedules closer to the date.
