COLOR + ART + DESIGN VIRTUAL PANEL

When it comes to the elements of design; both ART and COLOR have the ability to transform spaces, evoke emotion and spark creativity.  The right piece of art can create a focal point, add texture, and be the finishing element that perfectly completes a space.  But with infinite possibilities, selecting artwork and a color palette can be overwhelming — for those looking to reimagine a personal space or add the right finishing touches, this presentation will inform and inspire you to live with color!

Panelists:

Lori Weitzner, Lori Weitzner Design textile designer, author and exhibit juror
Color is always the foundation of my creations.  It is the initial inspiration for all my designs and the guiding star throughout the design process.  I have very particular notions of colors, their characters and impact and associations, both alone and in groups.

Prudence Bailey, founder of Prudence Home + Design,
I believe a room should always be approachable, have something unexpected to start conversations and feel a little gold can work magic. I love color and how it adds a smile to every room but I can make friends with any color palate that my clients love.

Jeremy Lambert is a color consultant with Ring’s End,
I believe that introducing color into any space brings it from drab to imparting an emotionally stimulating environment.  Once I open the door to color for my clients they begin to understand that it’s nothing to fear, but something to embrace and enjoy.

Agenda: Lori will present an overview of her book Ode To Color and the 10 Color Worlds that inspired the current exhibit.  She will reveal how to identify your own personal color world and make it a part of your life. Prudence and Jeremy will highlight select artwork from the Ode To Color exhibit and share the design and color palette that each piece could inspire.  Q&A to follow with panelists and exhibiting artists.
