After School Art Adventures October Series

For Children Ages K-4

Don’t wait to sign up for this popular after school art program led by local teacher “Ms Tiffany” McKay. In this 4-week session, we will experience the magic of Artist Dale Chihuly’s bold colors, raw energy and swirling organic forms. Dale Chihuly is a renowned American glass artist known for his vibrant, intricate glass sculptures that often resemble organic forms found in nature.

With Mrs. McKay’s guidance, children will be able to delve into this creative process by using materials like colored cellophane, paper, and plastic to mimic the glass’s translucency and vibrant colors. They’ll learn to sketch their ideas, select colors, and assemble their creations into a collaborative art piece, mirroring the teamwork Chihuly champions. This hands-on experience not only fosters creativity but also imparts valuable lessons in collaboration and artistic expression.

No experience necessary!

– Class is limited to 10 children
– Classes involve acrylic paint and other messy materials so dress accordingly

 $185 for family level members per 4-week session /  $210 for non members 
(all supplies included).

Cancellation policy – Refunds can be issued if requested more than 2 weeks in advance of the class starting, minus a $20 processing fee
