Join us for this fun evening of connection!  New this year – the meeting will feature an art-themed trivia game hosted by Rachel Lampen of Rock Paper Scissors. Come enjoy a lively, team-based trivia competition and test your knowledge of art and music!

We are also excited to present the Betty Barker award to one artist from this year’s Member Show.  Each year, one piece from the Member Show is honored with this award and a $250 prize. Established in 2017, the aware commemorates Betty Barker (1920-1997), a prolific and accomplished artist who was one of the driving forces in establishing the Carriage Barn Arts Center.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Meeting of Members of New Canaan Society for the Arts, Inc., a Connecticut nonstock corporation, will be held at the Carriage Barn Arts Center, Waveny Park, 681 South Avenue, New Canaan, CT  06840 on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 6:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time and at any adjournment or postponement thereof (“Meeting”) for the purpose of electing members of the Board of Directors and transacting such other business as may properly come before the Meeting.  The Board of Directors has fixed the close of business on September 28, 2025, as the record date for the determination of those members entitled to vote at the Meeting..
