Classical Argentine Guitar: Music & Stories with Carlos Pavan

Immerse yourself in the history and culture of Argentina with celebrated classical guitarist and composer Carlos Pavan.  Pavan skillfully blends Argentine tango & folklore rhythms with classical and jazz concepts. 

Amidst the backdrop of the Carriage Barn's Annual Photography Show, guests are welcome to learn about and sample some Argentinian wines before the concert begins.

Based in New York since 2000, Carlos studied with maestros Jorge Morel, Dave Smey at the Brooklyn Conservatory, and Pablo Ziegler (Astor Piazzolla's pianist), he has performed in France, Portugal, Ireland, Scandinavia, Japan, Greece, Belgium and recorded four albums featuring string quartet, chamber ensemble, and trio concertante. His works are published in the USA and Europe.
