Cooking & Crafting for Kids: Valentines Edition

Join us for an afternoon of chocolate-making fun, just in time for Valentine’s Day! Kids ages 7 & up will get hands-on experience creating their very own chocolate bark and truffles from scratch. They’ll also learn the secrets to making their confections truly unique!

Guided by Jane Mossa of The Pink Rhubarb, this session goes beyond just following a recipe — it’s a fun, educational adventure where kids will explore creativity while learning about the balance of flavors and textures in chocolate-making.

Give your kids a gift they’ll cherish — the chance to explore their love of cooking and make a sweet treat to share with the ones they love!

  • Ages: 7 and up
  • Cost: $55 for members / $60 for non-members 
  • What’s Included: All ingredients and supplies to make chocolate bark, truffles, and more!

 

The Pink Rhubarb believes in cultivating, growing and maintaining skills in cooking, gardening and craft while creating opportunities for independence, creative learning and life skills.  Programs teaches future generations how to enjoy using their hands in the kitchen, garden or at the table.  Jane started The Pink Rhubarb after many years cooking professionally for corporations, as an executive chef and owning her own catering company.

As parent/guardian, you individually and on behalf of your child, release and agree to hold Carriage Barn Arts Center harmless from any and all liability and hereby assume all risk and responsibility and waive any claim or cause of action of any nature whatsoever arising on behalf of your child while at class or otherwise in the care of its staff. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Carriage Barn Arts Center, its agents, employees or contractors, whether paid or volunteer, against any and all claims which may arise from any injury to said child while participating in this program. You have read and understand the above policy and agree to comply with its provisions. In the case of an emergency involving your child, you understand that every effort will be made to contact you. However, in the event that you cannot be reached to make arrangements for emergency medical attention at the time of illness or accident, you hereby authorize Carriage Barn staff to call 911 to provide urgent care for your child and further authorize your child to receive medical treatment from the selected medical provider as such medical provider deems necessary and appropriate.
